Sports hall ventilation often combines the worst circumstances for trying to make a project work.
Ducts are usually mounted at a high level, often over 10m, and supply air temperatures tend to be quite a bit warmer than the ambient room temperature, leading to wide ∆t and fairly buoyant air, which needs to travel long distances due to the mounting height.
Added to these issues is the lack of air volume for the size of the room. This is typically one (1) air change or less and often requires velocity control – especially if badminton is played in the courts area.
We can address all these issues with our bespoke fabric ducting.
